Galaxy S Plus Launched in India at Rs 22500, Will you Buy One?

The Samsung Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy Y, Y Pro and Galaxy Note were the devices which were announced by Samsung during the Samsung Mobile UnPacked event. Exactly one month after that event The Samsung Galaxy S Plus mobile is now available on pre order at Flipkart for the Indian users.

The Samsung Galaxy S Plus is the advanced version of Galaxy S with several upgrades provided on the same. The new Galaxy S Plus comes with 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm processor and amazing 4 inches Super AMOLED display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. That’s not all the it comes with impressive 5 mega pixel camera on the rear side. You would be happy to see VGA camera on the front added to be used for video calls and video chat. The connectivity options would include Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth.

With 512 MB of RAM added to power this mobile and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system makes it an advanced device than the former Galaxy S GT I9000 phone. The 1650 mAh battery would mean that it would be able to provide talk time of 6 hours on your phone and standby time extending a day usage. It comes with microSD card slot of 32 GB memory and users would be happy to have that.

Also with the rumors of Galaxy R in India soon, the users who are looking to purchase Samsung based Android mobile phone, will have a lot of choices between 15,000 to Rs 30,000. There is no date announced by Samsung when this mobile phone would be launched in India. With this news on stands, the price of Galaxy S phone would be dropped.


FlipKart will be taking the pre order for the Galaxy S Plus in India, the device would be available in the 2nd week of October.
